Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card - Launch Alert

It has become a trend, a co-branded credit card trend. Merchants are trying to lure their customers with extra discounts and cashbacks with specific merchant-friendly credit cards. After Amazon, Ola, Paytm and Flipkart; FreeCharge - a digital marketplace for financial services, has also followed suit and partnered with Axis Bank - India’s third-largest private sector bank to launch its credit card, the 'Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card.'

Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card is an invite-only program. Eligible customers can get their Freecharge Digital Credit Cards by just entering their details on the Freecharge app, which will enable a Visa Credit Card instantly on their mobile phones.

Freecharge’s Digital Credit Card comes with 50 days’ of credit period and is accepted across eCommerce platforms with exclusive access to deals across categories. The online transactions can also be converted to EMI as per their convenience.

Since this is a virtual card and can be used only online, a PIN is not required for Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card. However, you can use your transaction-related One Time Password (OTP) as a second level of authentication while doing your transaction.

You can earn "1 Axis eDGE Reward Point" for every Rs.200 spent. The Axis eDGE Reward Points credited to your account can be viewed and redeemed in your Axis Bank mobile application or Axis eDGE Website.

- Axis Bank Internet Banking

- Axis Mobile Application

- Axis Bank Billpay Facility

Joining Fee: INR 250 + Applicable Taxes

Annual Fee: INR 250 + Applicable Taxes

As the full benefits of the credit card in question have yet not been disclosed; it won't be appropriate to comment if the FreeCharge Credit Card is a YAY or a NAY.
