HDFC SmartBuy Extra Saving Days Sale has been triggered and will be live until 25th December 2020. HDFC SmartBuy's Extra Saving Days Sale brings in loads of offers across various categories; however, they have offered a bit extra on purchasing the Instant Gift Vouchers this time. Hence, we are penning a dedicated article on it. Read on.

About the Offer

• 10% Instant Discount up to Rs. 100 on a minimum transaction value of Rs. 1000.

• Additionally, get extra cashback of Rs. 100 through Payzapp.

• Use Code SBEXTRA to avail of the instant discount and pay via Payzapp to avail of the cashback.

Note The additional Payzapp cashback offer of Rs. 100 is only applicable against a minimum transaction of Rs. 1000 on Instant Voucher. Hence, add vouchers worth Rs. 1100 in your card. We missed the additional Payzapp offer because the net value payable for Rs. 1000 voucher stood at Rs.  910.62 after the discount. 

Offer Timeline

• The offer gets active on 23rd December 2020 and expires by midnight of 25th December 2020.

Offer Conditions

• The offer is a minimum transaction value of Rs. 1000.

• Promo code SBEXTRA is applicable once per user.

• The above offers on Instant Vouchers are over & above our monthly offers.

• In case the Promo Code “SBEXTRA” is used by you, but the transaction failed, then you can avail the same again after 15 minutes (in case the same is not availed already).

• CashBack will be auto-credited to Payzapp Prepaid Card within 90 working days after the date of transaction.

Bottomline

The offer is decent as it can save you almost 20% of the purchase value. However, the terms & conditions of the offer are confusing. A condition reads, 'Payment should be made on Payzapp’s Android & iOS App payment page only.' Not sure what they meant by this as we do not find the Payzapp payment option on the final payment page. We found only two options, that is, Credit and Debit Cards and Net-Banking. We opted Debit Card and completed the transaction with our Payzapp Card. We suppose this was the only option to pay via Payzapp under this condition. Let us know if we are wrong in the comments section below.
