Diwali with American Express | AMEX Unlock Celebrations 2021

Many Amex Cardholders tend to hold their significant purchases until American Express announces its Diwali Offer. Once notified, cardholders can enroll their cards through a specific link shared in the email and complete those significant expenses. 

There is also a possibility where one may not receive the campaign communication mailer like it happened to us last year. In such a scenario, you may want to dial the customer care digits and confirm the eligible offer against your account and get enrolled over the call. For the safer side, do ask for a reference number for confirmation.

Like every year, this year also there's something for everyone. There are a couple of accounts specific offers crafted in accordance with the spending pattern of the credit cardholder. 

The offer details are as per the table below:

Offer Details

- Spend an aggregated Rs X on your American Express Credit Card and receive Taj/Amazon vouchers as per the below table.

- Rs X refers to the spending target as communicated to individual cardholders.

Offer Duration

- 1st October 2021 to 15th November 2021.

Offer Type

- The campaign is user-specific and available only to those cardholders who have received a communication from American Express.

- As communicated earlier, call customer care to confirm your eligibility if you have not received any communication.

Offer Fulfilment

- Gift vouchers will be sent to eligible card members by 15th March 2022.

We have received an offer for a 15k Taj voucher against 2L spends, and at the time of writing this article, we have already spent INR 3,57,626 and stand just INR 42,374 away from the 4L milestone. Charging our card for another 2L means surpassing the 2nd milestone by INR 1,57,676, which is not our usual practice as the return on spends doesn't look attractive after that but, the Taj voucher worth 15k is equally tempting.
